Indulge in the delightful scent of leather-bound antique books with this candle, bringing to life the joy of browsing through your go-to used bookstore or library. Rediscover your favorite authors as their characters come to life on the pages. Have you ever read a book so intriguing that you forget the rest of the world and your obligations for a while? These candles may discolor in direct sunlight so it's best to keep them away if possible. Discoloration does not affect performance.
Due to the nature of the pure soy wax I use the candle will sometimes dry lumpy after use. This is completely normal and will not affect performance.
Cotton wicks are easy and low maintenence. Just trim before each use.
Allowing the candle to burn at least 4 hours (or as close to the edge as possible) will help your candle to reach it's full potency and help it to burn evenly throughout it's life.
Each candle is made by hand and therefore you can expect some imperfections from time to time. However, if your candle does not perform please contact me directly so I can make it right.

Some key points that customers have expressed to me on why they like my candles:
- No headaches
- Love the looks
- Scent lasts throughout the life of the candle
- The candles last longer than I claim for them to last
I work very hard to bring you a luxury quality product at an affordable price. I am able to save on costs by sourcing locally for my ingredients.
The major components of my candles (wax, fragrance, wick) are all sourced in the midwest from other small businesses. I also choose vessels that are more affordable and easily sourced in the states.
I value supporting small business and my community.
I value natural ethically sourced ingredients and clean fragrance oils.
I value aesthetics and work diligently to design my labels with care and attention to the people I hope to reach.
I do not produce in a warehouse or factory. I make my candles in my basement shop and it really is a one woman job. While I have some help from my husband these products are made and designed by me. You'd be supporting my passion and helping me support my family directly.
